CITI FOUNDATION
We are deeply grateful for the Citi Foundation’s support the last three years for Eastside’s College Readiness Program. This program is a three-year sequence of classes developed by Eastside to help our students in all aspects of college preparedness and the college application process. The College Readiness curriculum, spanning sophomore to senior years, includes SAT preparation, development of college lists, writing application essays, financial aid and scholarship guidance, and advice on how to navigate college once there. The College Readiness Program ensures our students are well prepared to apply to, enter, and succeed at four-year colleges.
VMWARE
Thank you to VMware for another great bike buid! VMware employees introduced our seventh graders to engineering and bicycle mechanics by donating the parts of 22 bicycles and assembling them with students. The fully functioning, 21-speed Trek mountain bikes have found loving homes and we are so grateful for the donated bikes and time VMware provided.
